8/August Buddha definitely existed, and so did our Moslem brothers' Mohammed. Why then is Jesus so controversially dismissed as a fraud or a madman, even a make-believe figure who never existed? The answer is better than you may suspect! I grew up not knowing if Jesus was real because I did not examine myself spiritually. I was unspiritual until the search for something better than life's conflicts and inequities opened my eyes to the world of the unseen God. It led me to read the words of Jesus and I was able, after 30 years, to know if he was real. I hope this helps you on your personal journey too.

31/July The danger of revealing our troubled future. Would it have been better if Jesus had said nothing of it? No matter how you look at it, people who read the Bible will suffer in the flesh and those who mis-relate it will suffer in the heart.
Click to view28/July To be perfect -is it the aim of all believers or a side dish offering for the Lord? Much of the teaching of religion is towards peace (friendship). And to love one's enemies is the one way to forgiveness. In the end it is the one with the most love who has to apologize to those with less. I sure took my time since the old days of Fellowship Fridays at school. This installment also touches on where love comes from and how some have more of it, if you follow a little closer.

But that most people would lose that feeling at the end times, from the increase in wickedness (evil, immorality). As a child abuse victim, I take pains to hang out with people who really care about one another but rarely do I fit into their frame of emotion, and only sometimes, the kindest people recognize the (little) good left in me. Removing the barrier, without first the sacrifice of the Lamb who is Messiah, would have destroyed God in our eyes, and vice-versa. Many have come to me asking why I don't improve my morality? Click to View10/July I grew up ugly (as promised, a bit of my life's journey). It wasn't that someone sat on my face, screwing it up, but I was UGLY. Whenever I see other ugly people who weren't fixed, I felt like telling them, being ugly is not something to suffer. Recently, tho, I changed my view, of advising people to present themselves as best they can, but instead by doing the best they can for one another. The beauty is in the Lord's plan for each and every one of us!
